Fun with (n)vim

I've been starting to get better at the vim-style workflow and thus been starting to customize vim more, more more specifically neovim. I tend to use vim-plug for this, but it doesn't REALLY matter. I just like being able to list/save them all at once.

So I'm going to list/document the plugins/customizations/cool stuff I use with nvim. This doc is a total WIP all the time.

Plugins I use


Opens a live browser preview of the markdown file you're writing. I'm using it right now to make this doc! It's kind of a hack though, it uses yarn/nodejs to make a little web server and watches the file for input/changes and renders them, which makes it not very “minimal” all things considered. Still, it's super pretty to write with though!


Emmet-style completion, I mainly use it for HTML/CSS, so you can write something like li>a and it'll expand to <li><a href="#"></a></li> without much effort.
